What is love? It is an age-old question. UME’s play About Love tackles the tough question and explains “how love changes throughout your life,” UME scholar Jaqueline L. explains. UME’s theatre department will present the play on Nov. 11.

This broadway is not just any broadway. It is a broadway that has humor and the demonstration of what friendship love and romantic love is. Savannah Graves plays one of the main characters in UME’s high school musical. Savannah encourages people to come watch because, “Not only does it have a comical twist to attract audiences of all ages but also for some it may give them a new perspective of what love is and how it should be handled.”

About Love is about love of course, but this play will show the love between family and friends. Jennifer Temminck stated that love is a choice not a feeling. Mikaela Graves and Miriam Graves show exactly that love is not a feeling in My Life Long Love from the play.

To conclude it all, Lauren H. shares her quote about the play. “ Love can be scary and uncertain and while broadway kind of makes fun of, it can give lessons. Sometimes it is ‘All for the Best’ and sometimes ‘I’m not that that girl’. When it all comes down to how you can deal with the ‘Seasons of Love.’” 11/7/16
