Donald Trump versus Hillary Clinton, who cares!? Perhaps a more interesting election to the students of UME was the recent class officer election held on Tuesday the 16th of September, 2016. This is the first time that we are going to have class officers such as Student President, Student Vice President, Junior President, Junior Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.

 

The class officers have many jobs, responsibilities and goals to make the student body great again! When asked about these things, they said that they want to finish out the year without any problems.

 

Class officers have a very important job. They are in the middle between teachers and students and the have to understand and reply to the students’ wants and needs.

 

The class officers are the students' voice. They represent the students as a whole. If the scholars feel that they are mistreated it is the student officers job to fix the problem. If the scholars feel like their needs have not been met, they may not vote for the class officers. So no pressure. 10/5/16
