We all are aware of the debates going on between Trump and Hillary and the question of who will be running America as the President. So UME decided to take a poll about "Who would you elect as president" out of our teachers. Both Mr. Stallard and Mr. Foster were not even aware of the poll. They both were honored and surprised that they had won.

When asked why they thought the students voted for them, Mr Foster, who won the presidential spot, said, "I think it [is because] we live by example, and I understand that [the students] are individuals." Mr. Stallard, who was voted vice president, shared why he believes he won so many votes. "Being fair and showing respect, though the key is to be fair."

Both seemed very happy with the turnout and how many students voted. Mr. Stallard pointed out, " I didn't know about it, so it kinda made my day." He continues, "I'm grateful, thankful, and honored they would pick me. What a great surprise it was!"

Mr. Foster added, "I think it is great that these scholars see me as a leader. In life, if someone associates you with a position like this, it is heartwarming."
