Fall is finally here, it’s getting cooler, and students are getting excited -- so excited that they are craving relaxation and warm drinks. With that being said, having a coffee/snack shop at school could be very beneficial to all students. School can be stressful, and sometimes you just need a break.  A coffee shop being available at school could help students deal with stress. It gives a place of relaxation, where you can just sit, study, or have cup of joe.

 

According to Dallas Morning News, Colony High School officials say, “The cafes create a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere where students can study or work on group projects during school hours.”  The shop would also help with the tardiness of students who try to make coffee or breakfast in the morning. UME student Treasure Bammel says, “I think having a coffee/snack shop at school would help students get to school on time because they wouldn’t have to worry about making coffee or a snack at home. It would just be a great convenience.”

 

 A coffee/snack shop being at school might take a few years to happen, but it will definitely benefit the students in the future. 10/5/16
