Clown crimes threaten jobs of honest actors

By Madeleine Colvard

Murder, threats, and clowns. At the moment, this seems to be what has captivated America. There have been clown sightings popping up all over America, causing havoc and fear all

throughout the country. According to Buzzfeed research, “More than 20 states have been plagued in one way or another by clown hysteria,” and it’s time for it to end.

While regular civilians struggle with fear and panic, professional clowns “are getting

fed up” with the clown sightings and their hazardous outcomes. According to Fox News,

professional clowns in Tucson, Arizona have “organized a ‘Clown Lives Matter’ march” to show the public that clowns are not dangerous. One clown, named Snuggles, has said in response to the people dressing up as “killer clowns,” “You're ruining my job and other actors around the world." Many professional clowns are in fear for themselves that they will be attacked and severely hurt or even killed because of the fear of clowns.

These “killer clowns” are no longer a joke. Idiotic teenagers are dressing up and scaring

and, even in some cases, harming people. They need to realize that this is not only dangerous but also ruining people's jobs. Unfortunately, there is not much we can do about these clowns other than to wait until it ends and hope that no one else gets hurt.

California has just joined the list of reported clown sightings

Professional clowns have started the #ClownLivesMatter

Instagram accounts have been made showing videos and pictures of creepy clown
