What’s new in theatre at UME?  The theater department will be putting on yet another musical revue on November 11.

This revue has been titled “About Love” and will feature all of the best musicals with themes centered around love and happiness.

A few that are sure to capture the attention of audiences are “Give My Regards to Broadway” from Little Johnny Jones and the Yankee Doodle Dandy, “It’s All for the Best” from Godspell, and “I Think I got You Beat” from Shrek: the Musical.

“Give My Regards to Broadway” will feature some very well choreographed dancing as well as a chorus made up of nearly every student in the department.

In “It’s All for the Best,” the audience will witness all of the young men singing, some dancing, and two very comical leads played by Andre Tatro and Stephen McConnell.  Finally, in “I Think I got You Beat,” we will see Shrek and Fiona trying to beat each other with statements of who has had a rougher life.

Mark your calendars, because this show will be one you won’t want to miss! 10/5/16
