Students hosted See You at the Pole on Wednesday the 28th National Day of Prayer. A rough estimate of 80 students made it outside the cube for worship and prayer. See You at the Pole is a day where students come together all over the world at their school’s flagpole and pray. FCA Students hosted this event at UME. They had worship songs and prayer time.

This national prayer day was started in Burleson, Texas in 1990. It was inspired by a youth group that decided to pray around several schools in their area. When others heard about it, the movement grew. The first See You at the Pole consisted of more than 56,000 students on 1,200 campuses. All of those students were in three other states. It has been talking the nation by storm.

Junior Lauren Horton said it was “so cool to be involved to connect with the Christians at my school and share a moment of worship and prayer.” Many students enjoyed the prayer time that started off the day so positively. 10/14/16
